Cultivating Performance provides concierge consulting services to school divisions and
companies who work closely with minors. The inner workings of children and adolescents may at times
seem more mysterious than Plum Island, calling for additional reinforcements. My services are brief and
solution-focused ranging from one-day professional development programs to on-location observations,
communications, and counseling.
School consulting services are geared toward program development, implementation and evaluation. I
also provide workshops on a variety of professional development topics aimed at dropping a little
information to school counselors. Companies working closely with minors may stumble into a world of
nonsensical chaos, calling for a tactical plan to mediate behaviors, attitudes, and emotional issues that
are sabotaging performance, delaying deadlines, and interfering with company goals and the personal
well-being of all involved. I admit, there have been times when my intelligence flat-lines and I feel like a
bucket of dumb wood when working with children and adolescents. But, I am prepared wood!
My training and education in counseling was received from the College of William and Mary and Regent
University's School of Psychology and Counseling. I am currently a professor at Liberty University. I am
licensed by the Board of Health Professions in Virginia and the Board of Education in Virginia. Licensure
and national certifications include the following:
